NAS AC wiring question or call it a random wire question

I have a broken yellow wire coming through my bulkhead. It is actually a wire housing. There is no wire inside. I found the other end (cut smooth while looking for a wire inside) Anyone know what this is supposed to do? Should I reconnect the pieces?

Also look at the pic of the connectors under the air filter? Should these be plugged into anything?

Yellow Wire

Hi Barry,

It's actually a vacuum line for the heater/AC system. See this thread for an excellent diagram on what each one does.

If you get the kind of shrink-tube with adhesive on the inside and then don't over-shrink it then it might work, otherwise I wouldn't consider it a reliable repair. I've never tried to mend one of these before.
