NAS 110 Winch Question

Did the winch come standard on the NAS trucks?

Mine has a Rovers North plaque on it and the controls and what not are housed in the drivers seat box. I have seen most have the control box on the front bumper.

They were an option according to the NAS 110 brochure.

do you have to take the seat off to control the winch or does the remote plug into the side of the seatbox?

I dont think it is. Since the winch says rovers north on it. Just wondering how or why it was done that way

Well, it is nice to have the solenoids inside as it provides a cleaner look and protects them from the elements. I believe ECR does this a lot, and I installed the solenoid box under my passenger seat in my 110. I moved the remote connector to the side of the radiator bump out. I think the Factory ones were port installed and they put the box by the right headlight (mounted to the back side of the bumper). That is how I have seen most of them done. I think yours was aftermarket though.
