NAS 110 Self Leveling suspension

I need to replace the rear A arm ball joint on my NAS 110. I think the self leveling (NRC7050) unit is spent and appears to be NLA. Should i remove it or leave it when replacing the ball joint? If I remove it do I need to make any changes to the arms to take up the slack from the shock no longer being there?

You should fit the rear springs from a non-self leveling 110.

Ours is shot too so I put a set of the airbags in the springs and they have worked great for us. It's nice to be able to adjust them whenever we're running with the roof-top tent and need more stiffness for the added weight.

We always throw the whole thing on the scrap heap as soon as we get vehicle in the shop. It causes more hassle than its worth.
No you dont have to change anything. Its just a little extra thing LR bolted on later. It only makes sense if you are running fully loaded or with a heavy trailer. But then i would opt for stronger springs or airbags.
Going proper off road its a pain in the b...
