NAS 110 Headliner Material

Gang,

Anyone out there have luck in finding a replacement headliner material that is a foam backed vinyl and similar to the OEM grey?

Echoing prior thread statements, my local auto upholstery place says they can only find and use cloth faced headliner cuz its the only material pliable enough to fit the headliner shell's nooks and crannys. Available vinyl is all fabric backed with not enough "give".

So, since I want to try to keep an easier to clean and more authentic look I thought I'd troll the web for ideas.

Cheers,

Why not order a whole new headliner?

I think the material is called "Ripple Gray" vinyl. I'm looking for some too.

Ron,

I figured that it would be a whole lot more expensive to find and buy replacement than for re-covering at this point, but that could change if there is no alternative.

I recall them being fairly reasonable back in the day. Vinyl plus labor has to be pretty spendy.

Check with Mike at LR West Chester and see if they are NLA or still available. I know ECR installs new ones so they must get them from somewhere.
