NAS 110 Gauge Modifications. What say ya'll

Hey, I saw this on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_1006wt_1169

What do you guys think about this modification?

Too much? Too much a diversion from stock?

Thoughts?

Dendy

I think it is a great idea as the D110 gauges are a bit hard to read.
I've done something similar in my D90 with little plastic angled extensions from Summit racing, but I like these better.

Looks stupid and $125 is insane. Spend that on a 95 temp gauge and sensor.

Not a bad idea, but you could easily make something similar for next to nothing. Off the top of my head I would say either get a piece of black plastic pipe in the right size, or paint a piece of PVC black, or you may be able to just modify 3 black spray can tops to do the job. I am not sure if a spray can top is too big, but just a few ideas of ways to do this yourself. Another option would be to purchase a thick piece of black marine plywood (starboard) and cut that to size.
