Name this part - deisel leak at linkage pivot

Posting this on Behalf of Neil

Any ideas? I don't even know what this part is called. I thought it was the injection pump. It's leaking out of the linkage pivot, the part that's pictured with the linkage removed.

I've tried to simply tighten down on the piece that I'm pointing at but it still leaks.

Pump has to come apart to replace an O-ring in the cover.

Hey man, looks like it's called the throttle shaft.

http://www.fujiyachts.net/manuals/CA...d%20Manual.pdf

Look at the drawings on page 4 and 20, plus the parts listing on page 21

Here's a thread on what appears to be the same or similar problem if you read down a few posts.

I am surprised he hasn't chimed in here, but I'd think fixing this would be a tad more economical no?

Options in order of getting more power: 1) Find used injector pump for a 2.25 diesel (harder than I thought)
2) Remove floor panel and go Fred Flintstone style.
3) Find Defender 200Tdi and 1.4 T-case.

Doug, Justin left Tuesday for GA in the white beast. I told him to call me if there's a problem before NY and you if it's after.

Scott Wold, he's headed to Kingsland, GA. I told him to look you up. Told him you were a Rover family. Although looks like you're over 6 hours away.

Neil,
Happy to help a young sonarman but phone hasn't rung (must have sold him a great truck). Sending you a text.
Thought the Ga sub base was Kings Bay ?

I would find a shop to fix the pump locally.. is it a bosch pump? I have a bosch diesel repair center local... they rebuilt a set of injectors once for me.... not cheap though.

I wonder what a 300tdi pump would cost for an overhaul? Just curious.
