Question Mystery Squeak

I have a very annoying mystery squeak coming from the cabin of D90 that I can't for the life of me figure out where it's coming from. It's in the front of the cabin and seems to be right in my face when I drive. Gets louder/faster when I hit any bumps. It seems like it's coming from the lower dash area but can't pin it down. The culprits I am looking at are:

AC
Dash
Steering wheel
Center cubby box (while driving I tried holding the cubby firmly to see if this was it but it wasn't)
Seats

It's not my iPad mount because the squeak was there before I put it in. Anyone ever deal with this before?

Thanks,
Keith

Barry had one of these and it was the bonnet bushing.

The mp3 file you posted is exactly the squeak I have. Hard to believe it's not in the vehicle, could swear mine is but will lube the bushings and find out. Upon inspection, the bushings look warn. There's definitely some play when the hood is up but not when the hood is down and locked. Going for a ride now!

EDIT**** I'll be damned, it's gone. So happy. Thanks Tom and thank you Barry and everyone who helped him run it down.

Josh - when I searched "squeaky noise", Barry's thread never came up. See attached proof! But then when I search just "squeak" it came up. Wtf? TMI?

WTF? Men say squeak, women say squeaky.

Maybe so but searching "Squeaky" should have pulled up "squeak"...

Me too. But now all the other noises are more conspicuous. Atleast I know where they are.

My passenger seat was squeaking like a bitch! Only way I figured it was that it didn't squeak when my wife road with me. I put two and two together.
