Going to try and find time over the long weekend to install a MUD rear door panel. Anyone done so before and have any pointers?

Dynamat it! I would take a photo of the internals with a tape measure for reference in case you want to mount a cup holder or something. How was it ordering from them. They only have a UK store right?

Soapy water / KY jelly, etc. is is basically a must. Yes, good idea to remove trim panels - only takes 5 more minutes to do so.

Pretty straight forward install even though there is not much to the instructions that come with it. You mount 3 to 4 L brackets to the door structure (I used existing holes in the door structure when possible) then screw through the door card into the bracket. I had to trim a few small places for the door card to fit around the door latch. Call it a 45 min job. Dynamat is a good call as well.
