If all that you are looking for is adding switches, why not just get a MUD Pod for the ashtray space and mount them there instead of going through all this?

I had that piece and I agree with you however I sold mine off after I mounted in the ashtray (no switches or guages) and went to Rausch Creek. I found that it limited visibility of the right corner/fender - ended up bumping a tree with my bumper. But if you are tall or maybe it wouldn't bother you, it is a clean and easy option.

I'd go with the MUDDUK panel. You can't beat the price, installation is simple and it looks close to stock. Here's mine when I first had it installed:

Nice dash and watch!
I do have a Mud in my other 110 and it looks great. But for my new 110 i was thinking of doing something different. Maybe the kroytec centre switch panel might be a option to. Because once you start cutting your lower dash, there is no way back
