MTL prices in Mass, 300 Tdi oil

Anyone getting a good deal on this in Mass?

Best price I found mailorder is $7.00/qt from www.myoilshop.com, plus $7.60 shipping/12, $10.30/24.

NOW, if I can only get consistent answers on what to put in a 300 Tdi I'll be all set! Leaning toward Mobil Delvac 15W40 or their synthetic version.

You Tdi guys can email me directly with thoughts on the oil.

15W40 is fine, any brand. It just doesn't matter that much.

Made it further than half of the other guys, but the Hammers won.

Check out my web site www.JavelinaRacing.com. Click on the Amsoil Store link. I have SAE 15W-40 Synthetic Heavy Duty Diesel and Marine Motor Oil - (12) quart bottles $61.20 + shipping. That's $5.10 a quart and it is the best oil around. Let me know if you have any questions...Dave

Anywhere it gets cold (below freezing), you should be using a 5W40 diesel rated oil (CH-4, CI-4 or ACEA E5). Best choices in the USA are:

1) Mobil Delvac 1 5W40
2) Shell ROTELLA T Synthetic 5W-40
3) Petro Canada Duron Synthetic 5W-40

AMsoil indeed, just go a google search for the Redline and shop around. I think I paid 7$ a quart... I bought 3 quarts and had a little left over...
