mounting hella lamps

wondering how best to mount new hella lamps on my d90 brush bar? drill a hole in the bar? affix some sort of bracket to attach to the brush bar? other suggestions?

Roversnorth has brackets for the 3000's that bolt right on.

The OEM bar is also available. I think it's rare and hard to get though. RN should be able to spec order it for you though, expect to drop $$$$ for it.

I drilled mine...just did some measurements on my Brush Guard and looks so much better IMO than having a bracket there. I was going to do the bracket thing but decided against it and just drilled my 2 holes as close to center as possible..It turned out a lot better than i orginally thought it would...

looks like shit if you drill. do it right the first time. get the LR mount.

I drilled holes in the bumper first for my new lights, but ended up making some modifications to make these large, deep lights fit on the brackets. They do look much better hanging from the brackets

I beg to differ...i think they look at lot better drilled...But then again i guess it all depends on what Brush Bar or Brush Guard you have one ther...and the fact that Home Depot had bolts for about a dollar and the LR Brackets are probably well over priced.....lol.....just my $0.02
