Monroe gas shocks for 2 inch lift on 110

A parts supplier in the UK reccomended for 2" of lift on my 1985 110 : Monroe gas shocks and Bearmach springs. He told me that was what he used and he could supply any kit I wanted. Is anyone using this set up ?
