Question Moisture question

Hey guys, quick question. I have noticed a buildup of condensation under the floor mats on both driver and passenger sides of my D-90. The older floor mats that came with the truck when I bought it have thick padding under them. I am guessing this is to deaden noise, but is it possible the heat they create is causing the moisture between the floorboards and the pads? I wipe the area down, dry out the mat and it comes back.
And NO I am not driving through rivers or streams and it is garaged.

Any thoughts recommendations? Thanks in advance

Yeah, the padded floor matts retain moisture. Took them out and only use the HD rubber "bucket" type matts by RN.
I cleaned up the floors and rust proofed all seams and mounting holes/screws, upgraded the kickpanels.

I cut restaurant floor mats--those thick rubber mats with holes throughout--and I love them. Gunk falls into the holes out of the way, they let moisture evaporate, and incredibly easy to clean. I have used them for a few years now, they show no wear, and I would do them all over again.
