Modifing a 110 exhaust to use on a 90?

Anyone ever modify a 110 exhuast to be used on a 90. I'm thinking of cutting down the NRP exhaust I have in the forsale secton to use for my 300tdi swap. I'm guessing it's longer under the rear seat section and where it extends out the back. Any thoughts on this, anyone have any underside pictures of a 110 exhaust mounted at the back corner?

Thx,

Might be worth it just to check the routing. It will have to be shortened between where the pipe leaves the mid muffler to the tail rear muffler. Also, doesnt the exhaust on the TDI's go pretty much straight back from the turbo downpipe whereas the V8 muffler goes towards the center where the Y-Pipe is and then doglegs out towards the left side of the frame and then back?

Since you already have it and it doesn't seem to be selling you might as well mod it to fit, you're out only what it costs to make whatever changes. You might be able to look at the straight sections of pipe and just cut it and lego it to fit. Anything would be better than the stock normally aspirated diesel exhaust you have in there now. Less back pressure is always good with turbo motors..

ECR says the gas NRP mufflers is too restrictive and kills diesels.

This is correct - with the 300 all you want to do is get the hot gasses out as quickly and easily as possible...

All good points, was only thinking of using the portion from the muffler towards the back of the truck anyway. As I think about it, the 90 ones vary from the 110 right where they turn to avoid the fuel tank.
