MOD Side Lights

Could anyone tell me how to remove the whole light assembly? I would like to install a bezel so I would need to take em out.

Thanks!

Wow. Those look new. Where is the 1/2 inch thick layer of paint?

They sure do look a lot nicer and straighter than the ones that came on our trucks.

Their is 3 small bolts ( straight head ) with a very small nut on the inside of the fender, 6MM I think. You need to take out the headlight assembly to get access to the back of the housing and remove the nut. It's a bit of a pita as you can't see the inside but they look in good shape so hopefully they will come right off.

Please let me know if you decide to swap them out. I'm looking for a few for the next build.

Cheers
Scott

I think I have a few sets in the shop - fronts, rears, or both?

I seem to remember that you screw off the lens cover, pull the bulb out, push the rubber bulb holder through (out toward the lens cover side), and three scores hold the threaded section to the truck.

Got them out! Very simple after all. Pull the rubber boot out, and there's 3 screws behind that.

Thanks!

Did you reuse the rubber boot and bulb holder or did you have to rewire stuff?
