Mobile Mechanic - Dallas

Any one know of a good mobile mechanic in Dallas to do a pre-buy inspection? I've got a call into North Texas Rover but wondering if anyone has someone personal to recommend.

Thanks.

Call Alan at North Texas Land Rover.

Met him doing the same; had him check out and tow the 2a I bought and did some repairs before I took it home. His shop did all the work on my 90 as well. Good people.

What truck are you looking at in Dallas? There's a red 95 Soft Top for sale on eBay. Is that what you're looking at? If so, I know a bit about the truck as I had a pre-purchase done on it.

I just got my truck back from Alan, and to be honest he is the only mechanic I would truly trust to know his stuff and get it right. He knows these older trucks like the back of his hand and apparently the defender line up is just different from Range Rovers, Disco's and such. I know a few Range and Disco mechanics that won't touch defenders.

This is how serious I would take this. If Alan won't go to the truck. See if the seller would allow you to put a deposit down on the truck and you take it to Alan.
