Military door bottoms

I was reading Land Rover Monthly's Defender MagBook and came across a buildup of a UK spec 90. They removed the one piece doors and replaced them with 2 piece military doors from Britpart. They sure look a lot like the ST doors for NAS trucks. Has anyone seen these doors or even put them on? My doors are in good shape and I'm not replacing them anytime soon, but I'm thinking of putting away some parts in storage that I may want later. I can't find them online, but have heard they are quite inexpensive and may be a great alternative to NLA/expensive NAS replacements.

Also, while searching I found they are different than the series doors and the holes for the door tops have a different location than the series bottoms. The military todos tops have the same angled glass and both front back back glass slide.

Land Rover Monthly is a great magazine. I have it on my iPad.

They are all the same execpt when going from series to defender. Which windows move and dont move, locking mechinisms, material (I think), handle pocket, and I think the thickness of the material used for the door bottoms, the shape of the steel channel for the frame as well.

That's what I had thought from the pictures I saw and posts on UK forums. I figured they must be the same as NAS as it would be odd to make a completely different door for us across the pond.
Thanks for replying.

It always seems to be the small things that make a job tough.

Nothing insurmountable with a few minutes and a welder. Pretty sure 1994 you are ok other than the dome light switch as most doors aftermarket I have seen have the 94 style door retainer straps.

As in the steel on the frame or are the MoD skins steel?
Where did you find the Britpart ones?

The skins are the same. Some of the military door bottoms have lock cut-outs.

I have a pair of military bottoms here i'm about to fit to my project90, so if anyone wants pics, shout.

I'm not suprised that anything made by Britpart is light and thin.... cheap and cheap is their motto.

The MoD doors are no thicker than civilian ones. It's just that series3 panels were thicker than 90/110 ones (cost cutting)
