Unhappy MG Alternator and Starter Qs

Well,

Ordered a MG Alternator and Starter for my 94 (months ago). Tried to call their customer service, with no luck. You guys are my last hope. I have 3 questions:

1) On my starter, do I need a heat shield due to how close it sits to my headers (NRP)?

2) On my alternator, they sent me item 1372, which has a four prong plug setup rather than a wire attachment. Do I have the wrong alternator or am I missing a piece?

3) Does anyone have a better number to contact MG

Help, Thank You, and Good Night

I took my heat sheild off and forgot to put it on, no problems so far.

2, I am not sure

3. MG has real bad customer support, I think they are real small and can't handle all of the orders and stuff. I hope I never have to call them.

Thanks for the info. I am going to keep trying maybe I email them. Otherwise Ill have to ship the alternator back and use another brand that generates +amps.
