Metal Jerry Can in Canada ( info )

I will be in Canada in couple of weeks, and was wondering if any of our Canadian members have a link to stores that will sell jerry Cans ( Metal - Yellow Preferred ) in the Toronto Area

I will be travelling between Toronto and Haliburton ( I can always have them shipped to the Hotel in Haliburton ).

All help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Gustavo

Good call Gustavo, I'd be interested as well. I am sure we can find some places around Toronto.

A few years back I bought a couple of 20 l units at a Canadian Tire store. Don't know if they still stock them. Also DS tactical in BC stocks them.

It's the plastic military ones (Scepter) that I'd be trying to get...

No, they stopped selling them. Same reason and rules as the US.

The ones in the link are the plastic ones. Don't know about you, but I don't like them. They are available at most military type stores.

Gustavo I can lend you a plastic yellow one if needed. Not ready to sell it though - it's my only link to a diesel right now.

Have them shipped from overseas... They are only illegal in a few (stupid) states.

Is anyone still making the non-CARB ones? Scepter used to show them, but I do not see them any more.

As to the plastic military ones, I would not get one unless you have used and like them. Lots of people have them around here and nobody is very happy with them.

just wondering what people don't like with the plastic military ones? they're a lot lighter than the metal cans, tough as nails(I've seen trucks run over them and they were fine... try that with a metal can), don't leak(as long as your gaskets are good) and Non-carb so they unload fast... what's not to like?

okay the screw on cap kind of sucks but you can't have everything I guess...
