Thanks Jason, beer sounds good just about now, but I'll probably be in your neck of the woods around 5:00am... Parked at a reststop on I-81 right now, I believe somewhere in Dayton, VA. I'll try to get some sleep first.

I was actually planning meeting up with the 'Dro to pick up something that I bought from him, but that'll have to be next time. Maybe I'll drop in one of your happy hours next time!

Sorry to hear about your alt trouble, Glenn, but glad to hear that the brothers down south got you on the road again right quick. Good luck with the rest of the trip back! And remember, it isn't an adventure until something unexpected happens ...

Thanks John! You're right about that! If nothing unexpected happens, it's just a road trip! LOL

We got home around 9:00am this morning after stopping at a few rest areas to get some sleep.

Anyways, thanks again to all that helped, especially to Sam and David... And also to Mike who was the first to respond. And to the rest of the GA crew in general - you guys ROCK!

This is such an awesome camaraderie and it never ceases to amaze us! Some of the best folks we met are through this community.

110 ran like a top and just SLOWLY ate up the miles.

I'll post some pics in a little bit.

Before the alternator crapped out on us, we were able to squeeze some great family-time with the 110. Overall, roughly 3,000 miles in one week!

In New Orleans and Destin, FL:

Great to see the Land Rover Brotherhood alive and well. I just finished my relocation from NC to Miami with my 85 LR 110 ROW, and fortunately, had much success. Glad to see this is a good resource for good folks who can help a mate in need.
