master cylinder gunk

So is it just easiest to get a new one?

Seems like residual cleaner in there would not be good with the new fluid.

If it is original to the truck, I would replace it as they are cheap enough and it is past its planned lifespan. Some fresh fluid will get rid of the gunk in the process of bleeding, however.

Wow, that is like half off and beck arnley is a great part source as they usually have OEM. I just ordered one as a spare.
