Mantec tire carrier vs. TD5 style rear door for 33" tire?

I was wondering if the updated SW rear door tire mount was strong enough to handle the weight of a 33" or if it was better to keep an original style door and go to a mantec swing away?

The mantec is around $400, how much more would it be to buy a take off updated door and paint it?

I have a new style rear door with the mantec. Only way I would go. Make sure you get the correct mantec

I bought it the painful way of piece by piece
door
glass
seals
wiring harness
tail light
door card
etc
etc

You can try to find a take off.

I've also been wondering how much an updated rear door is. Anyone know the price?

Easiest way to do it is to find a take off and repaint it. I literally bought every part new for mine except the door handle and the wiper. I haven't mounted it yet as I have no cash to paint it.

George laughed when I asked. Said he hasn't gotten a take off in years
