Tuffys have a proven track record, are more stout, and customer service is in the US. Not sure if they are still US made though.

Do you need a radio mount? If so I don't think the Mantec has one. Also it looks like the Mantec doesn't have a cup holder. Things to consider.

You can get the tuffy without the radio mount too

The tuffy is absolutely huge and basically pins the seatbelt stalks next to the seats. The Mantec has a nicer finish and the stock LR cup holder fits in the front of it. I have a Tuffy in my 90 and a Mantec in the 110. I like the look of the Mantec much more.

I think the 10" tuffy takes care of that issue, Jim.

Absolutely correct. I made the mistake of putting a 12" Tuffy in mine thinking wider was better, the 10" would have been better. (wow, get your mind out of the gutter whoever plans on quoting me on that).

It's embedded in my truck. Plus it has speakers and switches installed in it.

Good to know the 10" will do the job. A forum member also send me some info on mobilestoragesystems.co.uk
It looks almost the same like the tuffy!

They have some nice stuff for defenders! But i think i will go for the tuffy!

I love the space that my 12" tuffy provides, and don't think it is too wide. Just right I think. And cavernous on the inside; it holds a lot of stuff.
