Mallory dizzy question

I am ordering the mallory dizzy/coil combo. Does the dizzy drop in or does the gear on the end need changed? Thanks

It comes without the drive gear (but did come with the rollpin needed for it as I recall), so you'll need to either swap over your old drive gear or buy a new one and mount it. You'll also need to drill a hole through the end of the dizzy shaft,. All of this is pretty easy and the dizzy will come with good directons.

I'm happy with the setup on my 94.

I forget which part # coil I bought, but I did buy one of the Mallory coils at the same time, the model that Neil here on the site has written about a bunch as he installed and used the same setup.

Before you order, I recommend doing some web searching for these, as the prices can be all over the map. I ended up buying it all on Amazon, which I recall at the time was less than half the price of some other online sellers.
