Eddie - I am currently running a 2.8 in my 90 that was imported from these guys. Have been very happy with the engine so far - about 30K on it. No real comments on customer service as I have not had to order in any replacement parts...

Cheers,

Jason

M&D is the place to go. Martyn is email responsive, but David is a bit slow. Calling is always better than email in UK.

Eddie - Bought the truck off a good friend of mine about 3 years ago now. Engine was installed by California Rovers outside of San Diego. I think it had about 5 k on it when I got it (it was a replacement for a blown 300 tdi that the PO had installed by ECR a few years before that). Engine has been running strong since I got it...peppy but a bit more thirsty than the 300tdi. Mind you, I drive it pretty hard

M & D was very good experience for me. They have delivered to US many times and make it simple.

David Jackson was my contact. He has been very responsive to me. They are a bit "slow" on the email but I believe that is a genetic UK trait.

Have no worries going through them. They will stand behind their product.

Pendy did my conversion. Pure awesomeness.

Eddie- bought by 2.8TGV from them 4 years ago. They make it easy. X2 on email with David Jackson.
I did the install myself. There wasn't anything really technical about...just alot of work. Two or three phone
calls to Pendy (at David Jackson's suggestion) when I was stuck and it was ready to fire up.

Good luck.
Bryan

I too had a great experence with M&D. I was deployed and was able to get the transaction done. Nothing but professional.

I also run a 2.8 in my NAS 110. Although I did not buy the motor through M and D they give great support. Just bought their heavy duty clutch and drove 4500 KM from Vancouver to Moab and back with it. Ray
