LT77 Oil Seal Collar

Hi all!

I'm trying to remove the oil seal collar on the output shaft of my LT77, but it's not budging. I've applied heat (propane torch), and I've already bent up one of these:

Yes, I've removed the snap ring

The armed pullers won't fit, so using those are out.

Any ideas? Given how the parts department at the Austin Land Rover dealer blew me off this morning ("we can't do anything without a VIN"), I doubt they're in the mood to lease out the proper tool. Perhaps a better quality bearing separator? If so, any recommendations where I can get one ASAP in the Austin area?

Thanks.

FYI, the Rover oil seal collar pulled also failed - it peeled back the top portion of the groove in the oil seal collar. I ended up hunting down the Snap-On guy and buying their bearing splitter.

Sorry i didn't see this earlier...i used a 3 jaw gear puller and a ultra heavy washer in the center for the center of the puller to push on .

I then heated the collar with a torch and it popped right off

these and i just flipped the arms around
