Lt230: output flange leak
I have a front output shaft leak.
Today, I decided to take a look at it a bit closer (of course... the weekend before MAR) and realized that the nut holding the flange was clearly not tight to specs as it did not take much to undo it.
As expected, the flange has a seal lip mark, but it is not deep my any mean.
I'd like to get your thoughts though: assuming nut was a bit more than hand tight, would this have damaged the seal enough to warrant replacement?
I'm asking because I thought I had a spare.... If i do, i can not find it (only a spare felt washer). And need to plan (or not) to get the seal installed before the MAR or not....
