Is that a 6 cylinder?

Personally I would buy and older one for 30k. There is so little variation between years. Since it's about to end I can't see dropping 50k on one.

Car dealers are all over the place. I've had them text me non stop for days and also ignore me when I walked in with my family. I posted earlier that the dealer in Seattle I got my new LR4 HSE from posted at dealer invoice so $4K off list price and it was the last one on the lot and they aren't getting anymore 2015's so they wanted to make the deal. So the one you're looking at must have been a short lease or dealer demo so i figure they may have a extra $2-3k in the deal but I bet they don't have a lot of room. The same dealer bought my 2013 Jeep with only 13K miles and when the sell it they will probably only make a $2K when it's sold based on the price they paid me for the car.

V6 is pretty underpowered in the LR4.

It is the 6 cyl. but the way I'm looking at it is we generally hold our cars 10+ years. This one is certified so for a few thousand more I get 5 years and 3 months bumper to bumper coverage and fewer miles from the start.

Plus our family vehicle bar is pretty low right now as we're moving out of a 2002 Suburban. Ha! Two of my three kids don't remember ever having any other family vehicle and my daughter that's graduating from college this year says she only vaguely recalls a 1994 RR County. I'm a horrible Dad.

I'm sure it is compared to the 5.0. I'm gonna have to test drive it. If we think we can live with it I'll use the lack of power as a bargaining chip.

I would then get a 2014 with the V8. It should cost even less and still be under warranty.

If you are willing to blow 50k on one then I would just suck it up and get a new range diesel and be done. Especially if you plan to keep it so long.

I'm looking for that as well. I have myself in a bit of a corner. I don't like black leather on family vehicles and there are only a couple of the exterior colors I would be happy with for the next x years. No black, white, silver, green, gold, blue is a distant second as our sub is dark blue. Grey is first choice and the Nara is a third reluctant choice but ahead of the others. I'm not stroking a check yet by any means. If it is the dog everyone says then that'll kill the buzz.

Like the look but the room in the back is tight. This guy takes up a lot of room.

Its pretty much the same as a factory warranty but it doesn't cover hoses and cosmetic stuff. Technicians get screwed on labor for Certified warranty, so they might ignore problems that your truck has. If you have an aftermarket warranty that pays customer pay labor times the techs will upsell work before the warranty runs out.
