LR seat belt bolt threads

Can anyone here confirm the threads for current LR OEM seatbelts?

I am installing rear jump seats and belts on my '85 90 and have a question on the mounting bolt threads.

I am using LR lap belts which include captive bolts. The bolts have metric head marks, "8.8", without any SAE type slashes. I always understood that 7/16 UNF is standard for seat belt bolts, and a 7/16 nut easily threads onto them, only slightly binding when it reaches the blue Loctite LR nicely put on the bolts. My thread gauge seems to indicate 7/16 UNF and the threads match a 7/16 bolt, but the bolt head markings are concerning and seatbelts aren't something I want to guess with.

thanks, w

You're correct on 7/16 UNF. Being that they are a special bolt with a low-profile head, the markings may not coincide with what you're used to seeing, but that is the correct thread diameter and pitch.

yep. they're standard. I installed aftermarket universal seat belts and all that hardware is swappable with the rover bolts.
