Looking for someone to inspect a defender

I am looking at purchasing a defender from another member and he is in Boston and I am in Montgomery Alabama so it's a little to far for me to drive. I was wondering if someone could go take a quick look for me and tell me the good and bad of the vehicle. I would appreciate it as this would be my first defender and want to make sure this one is the right one for me. Please let me know I you can do this

Travelocity has a fare of 338 RT on US Airways. This would be just a drop in the proverbial (money) bucket for a Rover slave. Nothing like "boots on the ground" as they say. If you want to roll the dice, Delta will take you there one-way for $190.

Cityside garage is a great resource for just this very thing. They've seen a Defender or two.

Would love to fly up to Boston and have some chowder but currently have a blood clot in leg and not sure when I will be able to travel again.
