Looking for list of all the brake and fuel line clips on a NAS 110

Anyone order all this stuff and have part numbers and quantities? Not afraid to pay high prices, just don't want to waste my time tracking it all down.

Have you checked out pages 14-15 of our Defender Restoration Parts Guide? http://issuu.com/roversnorth/docs/de...6page-2012_web

Could be of help to you!

Zack, those are all wrong or at least not the type originally fitted (I bought some from RN and they suck -- no offense to RN which is great, the clips just suck). They stand proud of the surface by a few mils. The originals for the brake pipes are two peices and sit flush with the frame. If that is the only thing rover is selling, then I guess I am stuck, but the originals are much better. I should add, it is unclear what the 504 and 505 parts are, they may be the right ones (even though the picture looks mislabled).

Since you guys went to using your own part number system it is hard to figure stuff out as to what I actually want.

Were the ones you bought from us genuine or Proline? Sorry to hear that, were they physically much different from the originals?

Genuine I am pretty sure. I need to go double check.

Looking at them it almost looks like if you broke them at the base of the stem and then forced the stem into the lower base they would work. Maybe that is what you are supposed to do? I have been meaning to call Les and ask, but never got around to it as I was able to salvage some old ones for the bulkhead, but now with a new frame I need to sort it out.

Anyone have any idea?

I am sure someone has done a NAS D90 or NAS 110 frame swap and ordered all this stuff and figured it out.

I might be able to post pics tonight.

Last time I just asked RDS George to send me a bag of each, thats 10 of each of like 5 or 6 styles. I think I needed two bags of the normal single brake like ones. That's just so much easier than hunting onesie-twosie clips.

The normal line clips are made with 2 pieces. You insert the clip assembly into the hole and press the part that holds the tube into the base. This expands the base and locks it into the hole.

I also just buy bags of them in different styles.

The ones I got from RN are cast as one piece. Am I supposed to break them at the stem and then try to fit them?

I have not bought from RN, but the ones I've used "look" like one piece. Press hard or hit with tap a hammer and the one part goes into the other.

Ron, here you go...

NAS 110 Rear Brake Lines

CRC1250L....................6/7
79127..........................2

NAS 110 Front Brake Liines

CRC1250L....................2
AAU7803......................3
NTC1177......................1
79127..........................3

NAS 110 Fuel Lines

79121..........................3
79122..........................5
79158..........................6
NRC5415.....................1

I just checked and all are available via LRNA, but most have to be ordered in larger quantities than required for a single vehicle. Give me a call (847) two two four three six one nine. I would be willing to go in with you on some to handle the quantities as I need to replace several myself.

The reason I listed 6/7 is that the book shows another part but doesn't list a part number for it. In the diagram, it looks the same as the CRC1250L. If I remember correctly, I think the missing one is the one that sits directly on the Sals Housing.

Looks like ~$70 from RN, but the AAU7803 does not come up as it was superseded by SGK100990. If you can save money buying in bulk, I am in for a set, but I need them in the next few weeks.

LR PN RN PN RN Price
CRC1250L RNI825 1.79 7 12.53

I'd be in for a set if you do a bulk purchase.

I got the page with all the electrical harness clips. I ordered them from RN which had all but two in stock. Prices were quite reasonable. Talk to Art at RN if you need them.

Andrew, did you my check and the clips yet?

Ron, Sorry, I missed your earlier post about the wiring clips. I was actually going to PM you today about the check, haven't seen it come yet. Most of the clips arrived, but I was still waiting for a few. My parts mgr is checking now to see if the rest arrived today.

Ron, the one piece line clips install like this:
Mike the diameter of the fat part, I don't remember the size but drill your holes exactly that size. The clips want to be tight. Hit the hole with some cold galv and let it dry. Place the clip in the hole. You may need to tap it in lightly. Put a 3/16 drill in the clip and whack it with a plastic mallet. If you don't hit it square it'll bust off sideways and you will have to start again with a new clip.
Same with the double line clips. I used a flat screwdriver in between the two clippy deals. Whack. Seated.
You can rotate them some after they're in to line 'em up with the brake line.

I got all mine from Trevor. They are genuine.

I'll let you know what I have remaining after I send Ron his. Still waiting for them to arrive, half are here, but not the other half. They showed available in the computer system and they have not been placed on the back-order list yet; however, they have not showed up yet. My parts mgr is looking into it.
