I have been really looking into this myself lately and here is what i can add..It depends on what you are trying to do...most of the LHD Dash parts are available and reasonably priced. The lower dash is the exception...probably looking at $1200 or more new. If you are starting a new dash from scratch, you will need the basic items in the attached pdf that has part #s and pricing estimates. These include, Upper dash/crash pad, dash mounting plate, upper trim panel, panel dash closing plate, package tray/shelf, lower dash and wiper cover. See attached for a little more detail. Hope this helps.

Adding to what Dave said......the upper mounting bracket is different for the 2005 dash version with the center console so it is good to know which dash you are looking for.

The lower dash (fishbowl) is crazy ridiculous.......good news is they are fairly durable with only the vinyl hide peeling in the really old ones.

aluminum "bespoke" dash

anyone make a aluminum or stainless dash before or know who does? id like to entertain the idea of a custome dash. my rover is a hybrid and seems to fit the whole hybrid scheme

Like a series 2? Or the LaSalle? No one really makes a whole dash out of metal.
