Kevin,

Will you post pictures once you have them on? I take it that the you could just take the new mounts to get powdercoated?

I have been looking for a similar set up for my 101FC. I created a 8"x2" 3/16" wall rear cross member for the 101 and what to keep the wiring inside the tube instead of the direct path of everything the rear tires kick up same problem the perfect US led are too large especially when you add the trim rings. You look like you might have the perfect answer keep me informed with your progress Chris at one0one@gmail.com

Here is a photo of the stock rear turn signal shown held in place on the tubular 8"x 2" custom bumper I would like to keep the wiring inside the tube not right though both sides of the bumper and into the wheel well.

Chris, I don't see why it couldn't be done with aluminum conduit.

I could use a conduit but I would rather uses a surface mounted plinth with a 4" Grote LED exactly like you are making for the 90 and keep the wires right in the tubing let me know if and when you make them (anodized black gets my vote )

Chris, I was thinking about the surface mount w/ aluminum conduit since it could be threaded and sealed, although there is no reason you couldn't use some other tubing as well. Nice thing about the Grote and Trucklite Leds is that they are sealed pretty well and the Grote has a special pigtail plug with grease. The only down side is that both have the plug at the bottom rather than the middle on the back.
