The Perei LED lamps are not as nice. They are not sealed but will do the job. There is also some minor clearance issues on them for the NAS 90s (you have to slightly trim the black plastic base).
I put a set of those on my own truck a few months ago, but was not 100% happy with them, that is why we went with the new design.
Europa Spares in the UK also sells the Perei units.

Follow-up Post:

They also have quite few less LEDs in each unit.

OK, We got the BR110 back yesterday and finished the LED install.
Below you will find the link to the parts used.
I suggest these LED lamps over the Perei units. They have more LEDs, are sealed and have a much better look and pattern. You can base you choice on cost though, both will work, one just a little better. I've installed both.
The fast flash issue is solved by a varibale load flasher that will plug into the stock Rover harness. Like part #CF13GL-02 in the link below, but they are avaibale from many sources.
This will work with a mix of LEDs and bulbs or just LEDs.
The only down side is that the "trailer flash indicator" on the dash will no longer work. I have yet to find a 4 pin variable load flasher. Your trailer lights will work correctly, but it just won't indicate on the dash. I consider it small price to pay.

Its the flexible lamp units I like, not the Perei units.
Here are some pictures of the differences:

First (white truck) the Perei unit, Looks too "LED" for me.
Second is the Flexible lamp unit (on the Yellow truck). more LEDs and better lens (more NAS looking).
Third is the view inside the Perei unit (you can see LEDs and the red lens looks cheap.
Forth is the Flexible lamp unit lens. It is water tight and has more "style" (IMO).

I know these pix don't show the detail but thought I'd try.
I'll have px of the 1993-1994 units in a few days.

I think Pendy was asking for the actual part # for the chosen lamp assembly...there are several on the site URL...by the way, how did you order them? their site doesn't have a clear path to purchase...

We get ours through our UK suppliers in the past... but "as luck would have it" we have just become a Flexible lamp US distributor and will have for sale their product line very shortly. Funny the timing on that heh???

So for now you have to order through a distributor, or wait for us to get inventory.

In the Mustang and Dune Buggy web boards I use they sometimes do a "group buy". This is done so prices can come down for those on the board.
I'd be happy to do some sort of "group buy" discount to get these out there to folks as I know it is a good solution.
If that is "too commercial" for the board I understand. Maybe the moderators can suggest a solutiuon?

Follow-up Post:

I feel inclinded to mention for those that are completely paranoid, that these lamps are not DOT labled.

If I had to guess, I'd say Mike's probably looking at one of these:

Perhaps this one for the earlier Defenders:

The 837s are the "NAS" style
Sorry, I misunderstood the question.

You remove your factory flasher (from behind the fuse cover) and install the new one in the same location. It plugs in the same socket. Its a remove and replace operation.

It is the black unit behind the metal fuse panel (it isn't in that bottom row of relays). It isn't really visible until you pull it out. If you want to find it turn on your hazards and hunt down the "clicking" noise in the fuse box area. Its right next to the fuel pump inertia cut off (on 1993-1995s).

Will these work with the same variable load flasher on the 97's, or just the 93-95's.

Mike - if it makes you feel better, I can be the "group buy" point of contact. I'm on the left coast, but you could make one shipment to me and I'll break them out for everyone else. I have a FedEx account so shipping can stay reasonable. Keeps you out of the mail order biz and keeps you from walking the "commercial interests" line.

Yes, same unit does all.

I said 1993-1995 as I mentioned the relation to the fuel pump cut out switch, and the 1997 does not have that in that location and I just knew some "detail guy" would have to point out I was wrong if I said 1993-1997.

This will take care of one side (the left side, I think) but what about the other side, the one without the reverse lamp? Any ideas?

Also, does anybody have a source and part number for an LED replacement for the small round "beehive" lights that sit next to the headlights, two-to-a-side?

UPDATE: Here's some replacements for the front beehive lamps but OUCH, $19.50 apiece!

Mike -- just read the thread on #157 -- did you convert the back panels to fit the round lights? For some reason I seem to remember that one couldn't directly retrofit the round lights to '93 110s or '94 90s.

Unknown about panel issues, as the rear tub on #157 was replaced with new and it had no holes in it so we had a blank slate to start with when installing the lights, but the main reason I recall that the round 95-97 style lights haven't gone many of our 110s in the past is that the depth of the stop/tail light would go in and stab the roll cage support making the set up not fit, but the LED units have no depth so that is not an issue anymore.
