Leaking injectors?

I've noticed lately when I'm accelerating there are puffs of smoke coming from the exhaust pipe. It's not in a consistent pattern. Is this a sign of leaking injectors? Engine is a disco 200 Tdi and recent work includes new head gasket and timing belt, but it was doing this before either of those jobs. Hoping the TDI whisperers will chime in...

One injector isnt atomizing fuel as well as the others. Pull your injectors and have them pop tested for pressure and spray pattern. Tdi's typically need new injector tips every 90k or so for optimum performance. Most ignore this need.

Thx Doug. Not sure where I can have this done locally, i'll have to check around. Out of curiosity, are the disco 200 Tdi injectors the same as the defender 200? I assume they would be.
