Leaking Axle seals?

Does this look like leaking axle seals? It is on both sides of the rear.

Could be, pull a wheel and see. Use the RTC3511 seals when you replace them and repack your bearings while you are in there.

Are the seals on the wheel end of the axle or near the 3rd member?

Man my breathers were packed full of dirt. It took me about 2 hrs to get the rear one cleared out. It would have been easier to just replace it. Oh well, that's done. Now I need to replace my seals.

Hi Gary,

My inner wheel bearing seal at the spindle was cracked and I had fluid leaking on the inner part of my aftermarket steel wheel. When was the last time your bearings were greased? This seal is replaced after removing the inner bearing and packing it with grease.

I pulled the wheels and to my surprise ALL the bolts were loose! Not sure what happened but I tightened them up and it is leak free now.

I just did all of mine on both sides on the front...very dirty job...not impossible for the DIY. For sure it was a lot easier on the lift than if I had done it on the garage floor.
