Wondering if anyone has any suggestions on the best way to squeeze a larger fuel tank into a 1986 110? 16 gallons goes awful fast. :)

Thanks!

1) Buy the tank add-ons that sit in the wheel well behind the rear tire.

2) Buy an aftermarket larger tank.

3) Add sill tanks.

All been done thousands of times.

FYI, it is a 18 imperial gallon tank (21.5 US gallons).

Larger tank

From what I understand you can use a later, larger Plastic RRC/Disco tank and cradle with not much effort. I haven't done this myself nor am I suggesting you should but I'm honestly curious of results or if others have done this? Mighty cheap Junk yard option vs custom/imported stuff.

I was under the impression that the larger plastic tank did not fit an early 1986 110, but like you have never tried to mount one.
