I think the three ever offered were:

Alpine (yes, a slight off white)
Chawton (more true white)
and
Alaskan (a stark white)

I may be wrong, but I think that is right.

My guess was "Chawton" also, but not positive on that.

My Chawton is not as white as I thought. Next to American cars it looks a bit off white.

alpine white is whiter than chawton IMHO. I have had a chawton white Disco since new and when there is fresh snow on part of the hood, the contrast is very obvious, chatwon is like a siamese kitten white.

I painted my 94 d90 Chawton White over the old Alpine White.

Chawton is way more cream colored.....

Bryan,

This is were I was going with this, my 94 is Alpine White, without getting too crazy for a total repaint I was looking at which color was closer to a pure white.

I went the other way, I thought the RR sport with Chawton white looked nice.
So I repainted the truck to match it, Grill silver, headlamp surrounds gray.
Just wanted something a little different, too each his own.....

Artic White 110

Older shots from last Summer- I have since replaced the white flares with black ones and lots of other stuff- about to go under the knife to become left hand drive.
This thing needs a new home if anyone is interested.
I'm so enamoured with my Tdi wagon that I never drive this one-seems a waste.

Chawton is my favorite, I have had two Chawton Discoveries and it just seems a to hold up so much better than Alpine (that turns so chalky)
