BTW Tom - this isn't some BMW or Honda forum where you get to "weigh your options" and make some ridiculous assessment of "what's best for me" what tire "best suits my driving style" or some other touchy-feely BS. If the group says BFG AT's - then you get AT's. If you don't like it, I challenge you to a wrestling match.

I did realize that, and figured I could play it for a laugh. You and Neil could probably go at it, but I wouldn't even ref - I'd leave that to Ron.

the only purpose of this thread is to ridicule me for buying Non BFG tires!

But on a serious note, I never saw that size in my poking around.

Wink

So, Tom posted a thread to ask a question and opinions of D-90 members and then after two pages of thoughtful responses chose to completly ignore all of the advice given. I think you need to lower your 90 and ride with some 22inch dubs with those tires!

enjoy the tribal sidewalls!

Nittos are not bad tires from what I have heard. Enjoy!

Ron

PS try posting on lotus talk how you love your Khumo all seasons and how you put snow tires on the back for winter and then see some true tire flaming.

Jim, I suggest a two week suspension from the D-90 Source, as a first offense.

Toyo Open Country AT

I use the stock, 265-70/R16s and have great sucess with them. Long life and good traction. I don't do heavy duty off road but it handles well in the snow and rain as well as moderate off road.

I'm on my second set and also use them on my Discovery.
