Jump seat cardboard replacement advice

Here's a strange one: I'm looking for ideas on what to replace the cardboard bases of my rear jump seats with. I checked for replacement cardboard with George at RDS and on the Exmoor site with no luck so I'm looking for a durable alternative. Anybody done this already?

No, as my are in perfect condition, but I have thought about this when the time comes. I am going to replaced with black sheet pvc type plastic or diamond plate in same thickness, for water repellency. once I start hitting the trails next year, I don't expect the cardboard to last long. looks like an easy swap as well.

I think the diamond/chequer plating, painted black with the bars facing the bottom would be excellent effect, and protect from cargo when seats are folded up. might even add some small utility cargo nets to bottoms as well.

The new spec. jump seats have plastic bases. You can fab something up or maybe just buy the new spec. plastic bases to replace the old fiber-board.

I like that cargo net idea.

I think its a colored plexiglass . try home Depot.

I used aluminum when i rebuilt my seats. It helped hold the wood frames together...

I would use stainless steel, call send LenB a PM and have him cut some for you. He can put a nice brushed finish on them.
