Jump seat ?

Installing jumps seats this weekend. What is the correct position of the jump seat base? Is it with the bar down in the corner of the load area where the floor meets the wheel well? Should the seat base frame be parrallel with the floor, or slightly elevated. Just want to make sure before I start drilling. thx

With the bar down in the corner. Depending on where I drill the four holes for the bracket screws, the seat base can either be parrallell or slightly up or down. I assume parrallel but I have seen some that have broken down over time and start to angle down when the seat is down.

I think mine might have a slight upward angle when folded down for sitting, but definitely shouldn't be sloping down.
