Japanese NAS 90

Does anyone on the board actually have a Japan import truck? I know of the ones on the ECR site but no one ever talks about them. There is a place in Denver that has 3. Two red and one green for sale. I love the fact they are a bit different and have power windows. I don't like that the speedo on all of them is non original. Thoughts?

I have a thought. I'm saying this as nice as possible. Do you have A.D.D.? I also think that you might need a career change as well. You must have far too much time on your hands to be always contemplating a new(to you) Rover. What you need to do is stop wasting your time with a Defender, they're far too easy. You need to find and completely and accurately restore a nice series 1 Rover. That will keep you busy for a long time,....but if you have A.D.D......

He is crazy Carey. Just like me, only different in that his stuff ends up Barry good and he is not as mechanically inclined as I am.

How did they get the front fenders to rust? I have a bunch of SI 80in parts (including a starter for which craddocks gets 200 quid for a core) if someone wants to make a run at this one. All I need to keep for my truck is the rear tub, hood and doors as when I retire I am going to build a trialer.

ADD - check
hate my job - check
EWR a douche - check
I have my eye on a series also so don't worry.

I said in my posts about selling the 110 I was looking for a 90 SW. So I don't see the problem. Odds are I am not doing anything but continuing my work on the 110. Never selling my blue ST.

I like the term Barry Good.

The PW wiring and set up in the Japanese 90s is HORRIBLE.
Monkeys could have done a better job. Any shop in the country could install a better PW system than those trucks have.

Is that the same PW set-up that is in the few NAS '97 LE's that have power windows?

Sorry, no cliff hanger or anything, his dad and mom started TCI (know as comcast here in Colorado now) and Magnus arena is named after his dad.

Came across his bio when trying to find an address for mango motors.

Just an intresting family history (atleast for me since I live in Colorado)

I went and checked out the Japanese trucks last week. They were all nice for the most part. The guy who showed me the truck had a printout from landrover that detailed the truck being sent to Japan. Funny thing about it, he found the document inside the rear door card. He bought the three Japanese trucks from a guy in TN. Odd thing about one of his trucks, it had an urban off road SD type rack.
Now there is another Japanese truck on ebay with that rack too. I wonder if this had something to do with whoever imported these trucks.

Odd thing about the Japanese one on ebay. No power windows
