Is this thing worth having?

I was wondering if its worth trying to get one of these for my TDI? Most of those you see don't have them on them.

Are you sure that it will fit a Defender 200TDI?

Seems like the turbo would be in the way since it sits up high and the disco and 300 have the turbo down lower.

That is a good question! I assumed that the pic was a defender engine since it was in a defender!
I'll look into it.
Thanks

The Defender 200 and 300 have the turbo in diffrent locations, the 200 turbo sits up high.

These will fit on a Disco 200Tdi, not a Defender 200Tdi. Was supposed to keep the noise down. Held on by the oil cap. At least that's what Doug Crowther says, but what does he know. He won't even talk to me anymore.

Sniff, Sniff, (lonely feeling).

ah, yes - Didn't relaise you had a defender 200TDi.
There was a version that appeared before the full one you identified - that fits the defenders.
