Is this spring from a D90?

Found this in my driveway today, anyone know if this came off or look familiar to a D90?
It's about inch and half long.

I am not sure it's in any way related to my rig, but figured I would ask as it doesn't look familiar to me either.

Well it's rusty, so it's at least plausible.

That's a "reliability spring"

When they loose their strength, as yours has, and fall out, then the reliability of thr truck deteriorates. best get a new one and replace as soon as possible.

It fits next to the Lucas smoke canister, under the chassis rust accumilator.

Just a guess
Check your clutch, brake or accelerator pedals. Maybe you lost a spring from that location.

Check with your gardner, looks like it belongs to hand held pruning shears.

that's funny because it looks something like that. The smaller ends would imply a hand held tool...

Thanks for the follow up guys. I can rest easy, as it is from a pair of Irwin wire strippers. Better to be safe than sorry I guess.

Dam, now I'm second guessing my tool knowledge base and I'm surprised Briggs didn't chime in.

Funny that with Rovers we always blame the truck first. I bet if it was a Ridgeline in the driveway that thought would never cross your mind...
