Is this an edc motor?!

Can anyone tell me if this an edc motor? The block code is 18L

Will this require a computer?

What do you have to do to make it not need one?

Can you just hook a throttle cable up to it?

It is not EDC

You will need a throttle cable.

I got wondering when I saw the wires on the pump. Is that a tps sensor or a interlock or something?

That's what was confusing me because it had a throttle arm...but then wires too.

Thanks for the info!

One wire is to control the fuel cutoff solenoid.

The 3 wire black thing on top is for the EGR system (Exhaust Gas Recycling) so that the ECU knows how far the throtle pedal has been pressed. just unplug it. can be removed totally too.

If you have an EDC motor, then you can change the FIP to a non-EDC version... job done.
