Is there a 300Tdi IP service shop in US?

Evening All

Is there anywhere in the US that can set up and/or recondition old Injection Pumps?

Thanks in advance

Any good Bosch Diesel shop will quote you for rebuild - most all of them are sending them off to Bosch USA for refurbishment.

We can likely get you a rebuild directly from Bosch for not much more than the cost of having a local shop do it for you...

Cool, what's the best way to get this going as I have 3 of these pumps needing refurb and I need one returning to work ASAP.

Cheers

Do you guys have personal and positive experience? When people around here have tried getting theirs done at the Bosch certified shop here, they come back and barely run. The settings are all wrong and they just do not seem to have a clue as to the correct settings for a Land Rover engine. We've been sending them to known good shops in the UK.

We've taken to replacing them and selling the cores back to Bosch as the cost is not far off and we are not out of service while we pull off an old and wait for it to be rebuilt.

Rebuilds are $1600us with no core charges - sell your core back to bosch for a couple hundred or use it for lawn art...

Red I'm originally from the UK and travel back regularly, could you share the details of the shops you have had good experiences with so I could get these units reconditioned?

Thanks

Thanks everyone for the guidance on diesel shops, now I can turn some of these "door stoppers" into useful items again.

Cheers

You are in Texas. Contact your local Stewart and Stevenson shop. They basically do everything diesel related.

I ended up using M&D Distributors, North Shepherd, Houston who are a Bosch service center. They were very receptive and have a staff member who worked on 300Tdi in UK and who was very helpfull explaing how the IP works and the install details for the injectors. They charged $370 to set the IP to Bosch specs for LR Part number ERR4419.

Cheers Fraser
