Is the Panhard rod hollow?

Is the regular old standard issue panhard rod made of hollow tubing or is it solid forged? If it's hollow then I can use one of my old ones to fab an adjustable one. Don't want to cut into a good one just to find I have to do a bunch of fancy machining.

Paddocks had one that was stupid cheap that I put on my green 110. It was cheaper than I could make an adjustable one for and shipping wasn't a killer. Comes with urethane bushings as well. I beat the hell out of it and it did well. Think it was TUV approved and made in Germany.

Out of curiosity, what's the point of having an adjustable panhard?

Doug that's stupid cheap enough for me. Can't make one for that price.
