Is a 8K lb pull winch big enough for a D-110?

Friends,

I've started to do research on a winch bumper for my D-110.
Opinions are all over WRT winch brand, etc.
The various LR parts suppliers typically have 8 to 10K selections.

But my real question is what is the smallest pull strength really suitable for the bigger Defender?

I typically travel with at least one other winch equiped Rover, usually more in a Club convoy.

Regards,

I'd go 9k as min. for a 110.

Regards,
Your average 110 weighs about 6K and I have seen them weigh more than that. I would get a 10.5 minimum. 8k will work, but snatchblocking every pull would become a pain.

Made it further than half of the other guys, but the Hammers won.
