International VIN search?

Hello; I have a Vehicle Identification Number for a D90 being shipped to Canada. Is there a service like Carfax (which only searches North American VINs) but which searches internationally, so I can get as much background history on the truck as possible? Much appreciated people.

where is it coming from - these things tend to be country specific ... also if its from the UK you should know it's UK registration number ( these don't change like the do in the US )

the DVLA ... the equivalent of the DMV has a link here ...

You could also try this ...

That's the thing...I don't know if it's somewhere from the Middle East or Japan. It is left hand drive. It's a '97.

I would say if it's on it's way it's a bit late to be worried about what you bought ... you'll see it soon enough.

Is it a 'NAS' spec or something different?

Try something like this ... Or even ask your friendly LR dealer to look it up.

If you are hoping to find a global system with carfax like data you'll find it at the end of a rainbow, in the pool of unicorn tears ...

Some info about the way the vehicle originally shipped might show up if you plug the VIN into microcat. Maybe.

If you want to PM me the VIN I can plug it into the 2009 hacked version. Someone else might have access to current dealer info.

Give Land Rover Customer Service Centre a call directly and they will be able to provide you with the purchase history of the vehicle.

The second number is the one you need...8705 000 500
