International 2.8 HS

I found this forum doing a search for the International 2.8 HS and found that some members of the forum have them. I would like to know where you have purchased your crate 2.8's. I have a 66 Bronco that I am wanting to convert to diesel to play with until I can find a 110 or 130 Defender that is just right.

Appericate the help!

Give Stephen Cahill a shout at OBW (Old British Wheels) in Canada, he exports them.

A reminder to check all sourcres of the 2.8 TGV personally and satisfy for yourself that the seller wil be able to support your purchase technically and parts-wise to your satisfaction. There are a number of sellers and each has their own experience-base and reputation. The 2.8 remains a "hot rod" Rover engine and should be thoroughly researched by anyone considering a such a swap. Its not a 300tdi, it does not bolt right in, and small engineering problems will have to be solved. This is just a reminder to perform due dilligence before splashing out 12+k.

well an lt1 swap is significantly cheaper, for 12k i can pick up an lt1 mated to an nv4500 attached to an atlas II transfercase... swap out my rear for a nice ford 9 and throw some magic pixy dust elbow grease and you've got a pretty nice beast, eventually you can swap the front for a high pinion ford nine and you gotta a pretty mean bullet proof machine...

Has anyone heard of the P6 or other newer Internationals being fitted and what is involved? I'm assuming there's a lot of electronics to worry about as well.
